Description

Under current legislation, responsibility for preparing Fire Safety in Buildings (SCIE) designs and self-protection measures for buildings and venues classified in risk categories 2, 3 and 4 must be assigned exclusively to qualified professionals (OA, OE, OET) with specialization recognized by ANEPC.

Goals

At the end of the course, trainees will have acquired the skills needed to prepare fire safety designs for buildings and self-protection measures for risk categories 2, 3 and 4.

Course Content

Legal Framework of SCIE
Analysis of ignition and fire development
Graphical representation and nominal curves
Origin and spread of fire
Explosive atmospheres
Risk of occupancy types
Regulations: exterior conditions and compartmentation

General evacuation conditions
Technical installations and safety systems
Smoke control and means of intervention
Fixed automatic extinguishing systems
Self-protection measures and temporary venues
Risk analysis and preparation of technical opinions

Professional Certification

Successful completion awards a Vocational Training Certificate issued via SIGO, allowing automatic crediting of the competences in the Qualifica Passport.
