O Cheque-Formação aims to reinforce the quality and speed of active employment measures, particularly with regard to professional qualification, seeking, in particular:

1. a) Contribute to improving the productivity and competitiveness of companies, by strengthening the professional qualifications of their workers, especially the less qualified;
2. b) Boost the demand for training on the part of the unemployed and the actively employed;
3. c) Encourage lifelong learning paths, as well as the personal development of actively employed and unemployed people;
4. d) Make employers, actively employed and unemployed people co-responsible in the search for training responses that promote improved professional performance;
5. e) Enhance the adjustment between training supply and demand, creating a new dynamic in training operators;
   
   

Who can benefit?

Employers, in relation to their workers, being considered for this purpose legal or natural persons governed by private law, whether profit-making or non-profit, in accordance with the requirements contained in the Specific Regulation.

It enables the consolidation and improvement of skills and knowledge of a company's employees, in order to evolve professionally and socially.
